Practice Tuesday, 8/31- 7:15 @ FSCJ
Thursday, 9/2 Parent meeting 7:15 FSCJ at baseball facilities. Gainesville Teams:(2011-2013)
Practice Sunday, 8/29, 3PM, Oak Hall for those who can make it.
Event – FSCJ Scout Weekend Teams – Fall Scout Teams Date – September 10-12, 2010 Location – FSCJ North Campus - Jacksonville Cost - $300 per team, teams will provide baseballs for their games – 5 team limit Team Schedule – 3 game showcase, each scout team will play one game against FSCJ College team Three Game Guarantee – FSCJ College Team will be play each team one time. Event: Embry-Riddle High School Scout Day Teams: Fall Scout Teams Date: – October 17, 2010 Location: – Daytona, FL – Sliwa Stadium Cost: $125 per team, teams will provide baseballs for their games – 4 team limit Team Schedule: Two game round robin Colleges Attending: Embry Riddle, FSCJ, Daytona State College, Stetson, Flagler

College baseball summer team set to play in Gainesville By Ted Beck

When Matthew Naylor was approached about bringing a collegiate summer league baseball team to Gainesville last October, the former Newberry High School assistant coach couldn't’t wait to get started.
After months of planning out a budget and finalizing a roster, the North Central Florida Baseball Stars are getting set to take the field at Santa Fe College and Santa Fe High School.
Part of the 23-team Great South League, which began in 2005 and has squads from six states, the Stars will play in the South division against teams from Tallahassee, St. Augustine and Thomasville, Ga.
